Home learning hours, a noob's quest

18/02/2024

My routine start to settle, In the quiet of my sanctuary, the moon hung low—a silver coin in the night's pocket. The salt lamp cast elongated shadows on my determined face. I sat hunched over my laptop, a lone voyager in the digital wilderness. Coffee flowed like code through my veins, each sip a jolt of caffeine-fueled resolve. The room pulsed with the hum of Udemy courses—my guiding stars in this cyber universe.

HTB and TryHackMe—the names are echoing like ancient incantations. These platforms were my proving grounds, where I will  stumbled, fell, and rose again, a Hammond from the UK if you want but still a noob with fire in my circuits, I navigated virtual mazes, flags are not for me yet, but loads of free training, each challenge is a rite of passage, a step toward mastery.

As dawn tiptoed in, I emerged from my nocturnal cocoon. Mike, poor soul, bore the brunt of my curiosity. Every ten minutes, I'd pounce with questions. "AD domains," I'd say, "like parallel universes intersecting." Mike's eyes glazed over, but he soldiered on, explaining group policies, trusts, and processes. Truth? I was lost in a forest of acronyms.

My vision crystallized, beyond laptops and firewalls, I glimpsed a path—a winding road toward justice. Scammers, beware—I'd hunt you down, unravel your phishing nets, and restore privacy to the masses. But for now, I fixed devices. I waited for probation's nod, my ticket to permanence.
